Richard Finkelstein, the show's designer, specified six drops and two other set element constructions for this show. There was one show curtain, two cutouts around the proscenium, a die backdrop of the skyline and two cutouts of sewer pipes. The fly system and its crew got a real workout during Guys and Dolls. The Save-a-Soul Mission's interior was our only formal "room", and the news stand our primary standalone piece. This was the first time I had worked on a backdrop this complex; especially the die for the skyline drop.
